St. Luke's Hospital in San Francisco was briefly place on lockdown Tuesday morning due to police activity in the area.
A Nixle alert and tweet from the local San Francisco firefighter's union asked the public to avoid the area at Valencia Street and Cesar Chavez. St Luke's campus, at 3555 Cesar Chavez Street, is part of CPMC Sutter Health.
San Francisco Police said around 11 a.m. that they did not find anything suspicious and cleared the scene.
Telemundo reporter Andres Brender, tweeted that SFFD was told they could leave. There was a bomb squad on scene.
Brender also tweeted that traffic was normal around the hospital despite the bomb threat.
