Stanford Women's Soccer Has 3 First-Round Picks in Pro Draft

The Stanford women’s soccer team didn’t win the national championship but last Thursday the Cardinal did win the National Women’s Soccer League draft.

Three of the first seven picks played at Stanford, including a former intern for NBC Bay Area.

The Chicago Red Stars selected Stanford's Tierna Davidson with the top pick in the NWSL draft. The Washington Spirit picked the Cardinal's Jordan Dibiasi at No. 3 then tapped Stanford's Tegan McGrady with the seventh selection.

It’s fitting that Dibiasi and McGrady would be teammates again as the two were inseparable since setting foot on The Farm four years ago.

Colin Resch has the rest of the story in the above video.
