San Mateo's Draper University is the setting for a new reality television program.
The self-described "ecosystem for innovators," founded by Tim Draper, is the subject of "Startup U," which premiered Tuesday on the ABC Family network.
Draper is perhaps best known for Six Californias, his ballot initiative to divide the state into six separate regions, which in 2014 failed to draw enough signatures to get it on the 2016 ballot.
According to TechCrunch, "Startup U" follows 10 students as they compete in Draper's seven-week entrepreneurship program.
"I don't know if it's good yet, we'll find out!" Draper joked to the publication.
