Steve Jobs is a Bay Area Business Hall of Famer.
The late Apple co-founder, who died two years ago, received his place in the sun in the Bay Area Business Hall of Fame last week, according to reports in TechCrunch and CNET.
Also inducted along with him: Oracle cofounder and CEO Larry Ellison -- who is still with us.
Accepting the award on Jobs's behalf was Apple Senior Vice President Eddy Cue, who said that the award is "an honor, a privilege," according to CNet.
Jim Wunderman, president of the Bay Area Council, the area's most prestigious business organization, said that Jobs is "among the greatest business leaders and most brilliant thinkers of all time."
