Reed Avenue in Sunnyvale has reopened Thursday morning after a pole fire involving power lines prompted its closure, according to the city's Department of Public Safety.
The closure was reported at 6:28 a.m. between East Evelyn Avenue and Reed Terrace, public safety officials said.
About an hour later, the department said all lanes had reopened and traffic signals were back in service "thanks to the quick work of Sunnyvale fire crews and PG&E."
More details about the fire were not immediately available.
