An employee of Super Massage was found dead at work on Sunday evening, Pittsburg police said, after what appears to be an armed robbery.
Capt. Ron Raman said officers were called out to the massage salon at 156 Atlantic Avenue about 8:20 p.m. The shop is in a strip mall next to a Mexican shop and photo studio.
When they arrived, they found an employee inside of the business suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased on scene.
Raman said the suspect entered the shop demanding money and got into a physical fight with some of the employees. At some point, the suspect took out a gun and shot the employee, Raman said.
The suspect fled the scene and is still outstanding.
