Torres allegedly fired at least one gunshot from his vehicle into another vehicle.

Police found the victim inside his vehicle at Leavenworth and Beach streets. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim was identified Friday by the San Francisco Medical Examiner's Office as 61-year-old Chalay Saelee.

The murder charge came with an enhancement because of Torres' alleged use of a firearm to commit the crime. He was also charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Torres was scheduled to be arraigned Friday afternoon. He is being held without bail at the request of the District Attorney's Office.

The case is being prosecuted by the San Francisco District Attorney's Homicide Unit. Anyone with information about the case was asked to call the San Francisco Police Department's tip line at (415) 575-4444. Tips can also be texted to TIP411.
