Suspect in Fatal Stabbing of San Francisco DJ, Apple Analyst Free on Bail

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — A 22-year-old man who was arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of a well-known San Francisco DJ and Apple data analyst has bailed out of jail and has not been charged with murder.

The San Francisco Examiner reported Tuesday that authorities say Nestor Canchola was booked on suspicion of murder for the killing of 29-year-old Joseph Razo, who was stabbed several times during a large skirmish outside a nightclub on Jan. 25.

Razo died one week later.

Prosecutors decided there was not yet enough evidence to charge Canchola with murder, the newspaper reported. He still faces weapons charges.

Canchola was released on $48,000 bail Friday, two days after his arrest.
