A man accused of crashing a stolen van and injuring five other people including a bicyclist and pedestrian in San Francisco's Tenderloin neighborhood Monday night has been charged with 10 felonies, according to a San Francisco District Attorney's Office spokesman.
Anthony Wisner, 25, is charged with six counts of hit-and-run, two counts of reckless driving causing serious bodily injury, one count of unlawfully taking a vehicle, one count of falsifying a license plate and one misdemeanor count of driving without a license, district attorney's office spokesman Alex Bastian said.
He remains in custody under $350,000 bail and is next scheduled to appear in court for an arraignment Monday morning, Bastian said.
Police said that Wisner crashed after fleeing from a traffic stop in a stolen van at Larkin and Post streets at 10:18 p.m. Monday.
Wisner didn't make it far, allegedly crashing into a taxi three blocks away near Post and Jones Streets, sending the van and a taxi onto the sidewalk and injuring a bicyclist and a pedestrian nearby.
The 29-year-old bicyclist suffered a life-threatening head injury and was taken to San Francisco General Hospital. The 60-year-old pedestrian, the taxi driver and an occupant of the taxi were also injured and taken to the hospital.
A 38-year-old woman who had been in the van with Wisner was also injured and trapped in the van after the crash, police said. She was extricated and hospitalized.

She is cooperating with the police investigation and will not be charged, police said Tuesday.
Wisner allegedly took off on foot after the crash and boarded the San Francisco Municipal Railway 38-Geary bus but police found him and arrested him. He was also taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries and later booked into jail.
