A 15-year-old San Jose girl died Sunday from injuries sustained during a go-kart crash, police said.
Ivy Carrasco and a passenger were riding the go-kart in the 400 block of Lyoncross Way around 5:35 p.m. Sunday when Carrasco lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a parked car.
She was transported to a hospital where she later died. Her passenger was treated for minor injuries and released, police said.
