A teen was shot and seriously injured as he sat in a vehicle at a stoplight in San Francisco's Bayview District Sunday night, police said Tuesday.
The 17-year-old boy was in a vehicle stopped at a stoplight at Bayshore Boulevard and Marin Street around 10 p.m. when a male suspect approached and began shooting, police said.
The boy was struck by gunfire, and his vehicle collided with
another vehicle and struck a pole before coming to a stop. He was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, according to police.
No arrest has been reported in the case as of Tuesday morning.
