The Madness of Lady Gaga Is Coming to Town

Tickets for the curious performer's show go on sale Saturday

Lady Gaga is coming to the Bay Area and this time she is leaving the kryptonite at home.

The polarizing music figure canceled her "Fame Kills" tour with Kanye West earlier this month because of "sucky" ticket sales. The show would have brought the Madonna impersonator to Sacramento without a Bay Area appearance.

Now Lady Gaga is making sure not to repeat her same mistakes. She will play San Francisco's Bill Graham Civic Auditorium on Dec. 13 without Taylor Swift's Lex Luthor. Instead she will let Kanye West's protege Kid Kudi warm up the stage for her.

The venue selection is interesting considering when Lady Gaga was last in town in March she played the quaint Mezzanine. Now she is trying to sell out a show, sans Kanye, for the Civic Auditorium.

Tickets go on sale for $48 Saturday at APEconcerts.com and at  Ritmo Latino and select FYE stores.
