The Dish: Tsunami Mission Bay, Marinitas, Tutimelon

1) Mission Bay: Last night, the Dajani Group (also of Nihon) debuted its SoMa offshoot of Tsunami, right down the street from the ballpark. The Weekly has a pretty thorough report from the nontraditional sushi joint's premiere, and as you can tell, the interior hasn't changed much since we poked our head in there back in September: exposed brick, mounted sake bottles, a sushi bar, floor-to-ceiling windows and a communal table. 302 King Street, at Fourth Street; (415) 284-0111; website [EaterWire]

2) Marin: Opening for the first time tonight for dinner is Marinitas in San Anselmo. The project is by Heidi Krahling (also of Insalata's down the block) and chef Frank Villas, who worked at Mamacita. Accordingly, the menu is modernized Mexican/Latin American fare. Michael Brennan designed the "Old Mexico" interior; lunch service begins next week. 218 Sir Francis Drake Boulevard, San Anselmo; (415) 454.8900; website [EaterWire]

3) West Portal: Tomorrow, another location of Tuttimelon will reportedly debut in West Portal. How romantical. 44 West Portal Avenue, between Ulloa and Vicente; website [FYG]
