A Hamadryas baboon was born early last month at the Oakland Zoo, according to zoo officials.
Mousa is a boy and is the firstborn child of Mocha, his mother. Mousa is the first third generation baboon at the zoo.

His grandparents are Maya and Martijn. Zoo officials said Mocha is turning out to be a great mother and the grandmothers of the troop support and keep an eye on the two.
"At almost three weeks old, Mousa is doing great," Andrea Dougall, zoological manager at the zoo said in a statement.
