A traffic stop for CHP officers turned into a weed and booze bust in Petaluma overnight.
Officers spotted a Toyota Tundra weaving on southbound U.S. Highway 101 at about 2:45 a.m. and stopped the truck at the East Washington Street offramp.
Inside his truck, they found 5 pounds of marijuana packaged and ready for sales.
Officers arrested 39-year-old David Lee Thomas of Redway.
Thomas was booked into the Sonoma County jail.
He is charged with driving under the influence, possession of marijuana for sales and transportation for sales.
