Treasures of Our Public Lands

The Bay Area's most valuable real estate belongs to all of us

This is a personal essay, filled with beautiful images, about the OpenRoad team's passion for our unique legacy of parks and open spaces here in the Bay Area and northern California.   From the land, sea and air we’ll marvel at the wonders of the massive gift of open space given to us by previous generations who had the vision, courage and tenacity to protect extensive landscapes and important landmarks for everyone to enjoy now and in the future. These natural, cultural and historical jewels and working farm and ranch lands have long nurtured us in many ways and now its our turn to nurture them.  We'll end by saying how we hope the OpenRoad television series will help us each find places and experiences we can treasure, seek to protect and improve and have a good time in the process.
