Two Powerball Tickets Matching 5 of 6 Numbers Sold in Bay Area

Three Powerball tickets in California matched 5 of 6 numbers in Wednesday night's $700 million draw, and two of those were sold in the Bay Area, according to officials with the California Lottery.

A jackpot winning ticket worth $758 million was sold in Massachusetts, according to Powerball.com.

The winning numbers were: 6, 7, 16, 23, 26 and 4 (the Powerball number).

One of the lucky Bay Area tickets was sold at a Chevron station in Milpitas and the other was sold in Daly City. The third California winner was located in Newport Beach.

The Chevron station is the very same seller of a jackpot ticket in April 2014, when Ray Buxton won $425 million.

Even though it wasn't a jackpot winner, lottery officials say the gas station owner will get a good commission bonus.

The three California winners will take home just under a million dollars each.
