Warriors All-Star Stephen Curry to Compete in 3-Point Contest

All-Star guard Stephen Curry will represent the Golden State Warriors in the NBA's three-point shooting contest on All-Star Saturday night Feb. 16, according to a team release Tuesday.

It will be Curry's sixth appearance in the three-point contest and the seventh consecutive year a Warriors player has competed in the event, the team said. Curry won it in 2015, and his backcourt mate Klay Thompson captured the title in 2016, with Curry finishing as runner-up.

The 2019 contest also will feature Curry's brother Seth Curry of the Portland Trail Blazers, the Suns' Devin Booker, Toronto's Danny Green, the Nets' Joe Harris, Sacramento's Buddy Hield, Portland's Damian Lillard, Milwaukee's Khris Middleton, the Mavericks' Dirk Nowitzki and Charlotte's Kemba Walker.

Curry, who is averaging a team high 29.2 points per game, is making his sixth straight appearance in the NBA All-Star Game.
