A man was critically injured in a shooting in West Oakland Thursday morning and police are looking for his attacker, a police officer said.
The shooting was reported at about 9 a.m. near the corner of 26th and Willow streets, near Mandela Parkway, police Officer J. Moore said.
The victim was found there suffering from a gunshot wound and was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Moore said police have the name of a suspect in the shooting and are looking for the armed man.
