7/15: Tears For Fears, a Fire Festival, and a Movie

Tonight's events are hot . . . literally

PLAY IT AGAIN, SAM: Watch the classic movie "Casablanca" for free tonight in San Jose on Post Street between Market and First. The show starts at 7:15 pm, but come early for the best seats.

THAT'S HOT: Calling all pyros! Oakland's The Crucible is hosting a fire arts festival full of fire sculptures, fire performances, and all other things fire-related. The event runs from 8 p.m. to midnight, and tickets are $35 to $55.  

SHOUT IT ALL OUT: Tears For Fears is playing tonight at the Mountain Winery in Saratoga at 7:30. Tickets are $79.50, $65, or $55 depending on where you want to sit. 

FOOTBALL IN JULY: The top recently graduated high school football players from Silicon Valley will play at San Jose's Spartan Stadium tonight at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 and proceeds go to the Charlie Wedemeyer Family Outreach Program.

OH @*#$!: Paul Krassner poses a provocative question in his new book, "Who's to Say What's Obscene?" He'll discuss the topic at City Lights in San Francisco starting at 7 p.m.

GIANTS COUNTY FAIR: The Giants are bringing food and carnival rides to AT&T Park until July 19. The fair opens at 12 p.m. and closes at 10 p.m. and takes place at McCovey Cove in Lot A. General admission is $5 and kids are free.
