Yelp has, at best, a testy relationship with some businesses. But, now, it has announced a publicity move aimed at helping some of the restaurants on its listing service.
For one week in October, you'll be able to eat at dozens of Bay Area restaurants for one fixed price: $35.
Starting Oct. 5, restaurants ranging from Yoshi's in San Francisco to Mezcal in San Jose will offer the Prix Fixe menu for anyone who comes in, whether they are Yelp-ers or not.
The campaign, dubbed the Yelp Eats! Restaurant Week, recently ran in Atlanta, Chicago, Houston and Miami. Eateries in those cities say the deal brought in a surge of customers.
