An alleged white supremacist has been charged with terrorism after being arrested for pulling the emergency brake on an Amtrak train in October, according to newly unsealed court papers, NBC News reported.

The affidavit filed in federal court says 26-year-old Taylor Michael Wilson's cousin told FBI agents that Wilson belongs to a neo-Nazi group, traveled to Charlottesville for white nationalist rallies and talked about "killing black people."

Wilson, who officials said has a history of mental health problems and drug use, was arrested in October in Nebraska after he allegedly barged into a secure area of an Amtrak train and employed the emergency brake, forcing the train to lurch to a stop. Wilson was carrying a loaded gun and a knife, officials said.

The papers unsealed this week say that Wilson was charged with a terrorist attack on a railroad and ordered held without bail during a Dec. 28 detention hearing.
