GOP, Democratic Candidates' Iowa Caucus Social Media Moments

A caucus in West Davenport was settled by a coin toss favorable to Hillary Clinton.

Candidates from both major parties sought to close the deal Monday as the Iowa caucuses began the formal process of choosing President Barack Obama's successor. 

Ted Cruz won the Iowa caucus for the Republicans. The Democratic race was in a dead heat as Cruz took the podium to give his victory speech. Hillary Clinton later eked out a victory

Hillary Clinton addressed supporters and said she was breathing a sigh of relief. Andrew Tadlock tweeted a video of a caucus in West Davenport that was settled by a coin toss favorable to Clinton.

"It looks like we are in a virtual tie," said Bernie Sanders as his supporters cheered

"I love you people. I love you people... I absolutely love the people of Iowa," said Donald Trump during his concession speech. 

Mike Huckabee used his Twitter account to announce his campaign would be suspended. Martin O'Malley also announced the suspension of his campaign.
