A couple in Chicago's Logan Square neighborhood has captured attention online for posting photos of their newborn in various Halloween costumes on Instagram.
Candace Corner Miller and her husband Johnny have been dressing their 6-month-old son Henry Indiana Miller every single day of October and posting photos on their Instagram account.
The baby was born on Easter, and Candace said by email that she did the math to figure out how old their son would be by Halloween so they could plan costumes based on whether he could sit up or stand.
“This year, we really wanted to go all out and make it special because it was our first Halloween with our son,” Candace said.
Candace has enjoyed the response the posts have gotten.
“It's just been fun to see people we're friends with or don't even know tell us how much they look forward to seeing what he'll do next,” Candace said. “It's making us feel like we really have to step up our game and maybe toss in a few new ideas.”
The couple is also asking people to share costume suggestions on their Instagram photos. They will make their favorite fan suggestion the newborn’s costume on Halloween.
