Firefighters Rescue 2 Window Washers on Broken Scaffold

Firefighters rescued two window washers trapped on a broken scaffold on the JP Morgan Chase Tower in downtown Houston on Monday morning.

Authorities said a motor on the washing rig malfunctioned at the 71st floor and the men radioed that they were stuck.

Aerial footage showed firefighters pull the window washers to safety through a window at about 11:10 a.m.

The 75-story Chase Tower is more than 1,000 feet tall, making it the tallest building in Texas and one of the tallest in the nation.
