Former ‘Apprentice' Contestants to Voters: Don't Hire Trump

The former contestants teamed up in hopes of "firing" Trump from the campaign trail

A winner of “The Apprentice” and five former contestants of Donald Trump’s reality show denounced the Republican front-runner’s presidential campaign as racist and divisive, just days before the New York state primary on April 19, NBC News reported.

Alumni of the real-estate businessman's NBC show — Randal Pinkett, Kwame Jackson, Tara Dowdell, Marshawn Evans Daniels, Kevin Allen, and James Sun — teamed up in hopes of "firing" Trump from the campaign trail.

Jackson, the season one runner-up who has long criticized the candidate's campaign, said Trump's policy proposals, including building a wall along the southern border that Mexico will fund and implementing surveillance in all U.S. mosques, were "bombast."

Season four winner Pinkett reached out to the other former contestants to organize the press conference in New York on Friday morning.
