Ohio Massacre: Friends Recall ‘Loving, Caring' Teen

Friends of Christopher Rhoden Jr., the youngest victim of the Ohio massacre, recalled a teen who "lit up a room" and was fiercely devoted to his family, NBC News reported.

Rhoden, 16, and seven adult members of his family were found dead Friday at four properties near Piketon in rural Ohio. Investigators have questioned more than 30 people but have made no arrests, according to The Associated Press.

"I knew I could run to Chris if I needed help and he would be there," Samantha Tschudy, who said she had known Rhoden since kindergarten, told NBC News. "He was an amazing, amazing, loving, caring person ... especially to his family."

A 4-day-old baby and two other children escaped the execution-style killings. Rhoden's classmate, Felicity Scheyler, said she still "couldn't believe it" when her friend was confirmed to be among the dead.
