A trainee FDNY firefighter found a dramatic way to propose: He popped the question while hanging from a rope off the side of a building, fire officials said.
Ziyad Santana, a probationary firefighter, made the dramatic ask during family day at the Fire Academy.
The FDNY released a photo of the proposal along with a message of congratulations on Twitter Saturday. The photo was accompanied by the hashtag #RoofRopeProposal.
