Recall Issued for Mandarin Oranges Sold at Walgreens After Glass Is Found In Bottles

Jarred Mandarin oranges sold at Walgreens locations nationwide are being recalled after glass was found in their containers, food safety officials said.

Nice! banded Mandarin oranges in 8-ounce bottles were recalled by their manufacturer on Monday after at least one consumer reported being injured by a shard of glass, according to the FDA.

The FDA warns that consumers could be cut or injured if they try to eat the oranges.

The affected products are sold at Walgreens stores across the country.

It's not immediately clear if the oranges are also sold at Duane Reade, which is owned by Walgreens and stocks Nice! branded products.
