January Jones, aka Betty Draper of Mad Men has been cast as the beautiful telepath Emma Frost in "X-Men: First Class," refuting earlier reports that had the role going to Alice Eve (She's Out of Your League).
Rose Byrne (Get Him to the Greek, Damages) is in talks to take the role of Dr. Moira Taggart, scientist and love interest of Prof. Charles Xavier.
Oliver Platt recently signed on to play the "man in black," presumably a government agent making life difficult for Prof. X and his young charges.
