The British artist, Banksy—who's identity still remains a mystery— has spray painted a new mural in Gaza of a kitten playing with a ball of tangled metal rods like a yarn ball. The kitten juxtaposed with its destructive surroundings captures exactly what the artist was trying to convey: "A local man came up and said 'Please— what does this mean?' I explained I wanted to highlight the destruction in Gaza by posting photos on my website—but on the internet people only look at pictures of kittens," the artist says on his website. Banksy also posted on his website a mini-documentary on the squalid conditions in Gaza six months after the end of the war between Islamist Hamas and Israel.
