Apple's Wearable Computers Are For Fitness

Apple's new wearable computers will be for fitness enthusiasts rather than gamers, according to a new report.

Apparently that's where the cultural zeitgeist is heading, CNNMoney reported. Because Apple has hired health and fitness experts, is working with Nike and seems to be hiring more health and fitness app developers, it appears to be the case. If you're still not convinced, Apple already has placed a processor in the iPhone 5S to keep track one's activity.

Now with patented headphones that can track heart rate, sweat and body temperature, we are heading toward what's coined as the integrated life -- where one's movements, breath and heartbeats are captured and analyzed. In essence, Apple isn't going to put out another innovative iPhone, but rather accessories for that iPhone that work with health and fitness apps.
