Cards Against Humanity has become known for their outlandish stunts and promotions, but the company is taking things to a new level with their latest actions.

The company, known for buying land along the U.S.-Mexico border to thwart President Donald Trump’s border wall and for selling packs of cards to help support legalization of marijuana, recently raised over a million dollars and did something radical with it:

    They redistributed it.

Citing the fact that the eight wealthiest people on Earth have more wealth than the poorest half of all of the world’s citizens (almost four billion people, according to their website), the company announced that 100 people received checks for $1000 as a result of their “Cards Against Humanity Saves America” promotion.

Some of those people had their stories featured on the website on a page dedicated to explaining the rationale and methodology to the distribution of the money.

“Our lawyers advised against our first choice – a campaign to eat all the rich people and live in their houses – so we settled for something more achievable,” the company said. “Last month, 150,000 people signed up for Cards Against Humanity Saves America. Today, we’re redistributing their money.”

10,000 subscribers to the service received a refund of the $15 purchase price, while the rest of the people that signed up will receive nothing, according to the company.
