Chrome 19 Syncs Open Tabs Everywhere

Google's Chrome browser has come a really long way since it was launched three years ago. Today, it adds another excellent feature that workaholics have been pining for: cross-device syncing for all of your open tabs between other computers and any Android device running the new Chrome browser.

Chrome 19 (hard to believe, we're at stable release number one nine already!) lets users sign in to Chrome and have all of their open tabs pushed out to any number of devices:

With today's Stable release of Chrome, you can. When you're signed in to Chrome, your open tabs are synced across all your devices, so you can quickly access them from the "Other devices" menu on the New Tab page. If you've got Chrome for Android Beta, you can open the same recipe tab right on your phone when you run out to the store for more ingredients. The back and forward buttons will even work, so you can pick up browsing right where you left off.

In addition to syncing tabs, signing in to Chrome will also sync your apps, bookmarks, extensions, history, themes along with it ensuring your Chrome experience is always your personal Chrome experience no matter what computer you're using.

Do note that Android smartphones and tablets running Chrome for Android Beta requires Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

In other Chrome browser related news, rumor has it that Google is cooking up a version of its browser for Apple's iOS devices.

Unlike Google's other projects of late (Wave, Buzz, Google+), the Chrome browser seems to continue to become feature-rich and well-received.
