Hasselhoff, Bristol Palin Latest to Join “Dancing With the Stars”

"Dancing With the Stars" picked up two more big names, with David Hasselhoff and Bristol Palin joining the cast for the season which begins Sept. 20.

Those were the latest names to join what is shaping up to be an all-star cast also including Audrina Partidge, "Jersey Shore" star The Situation and Brandy, according to E! Online. Also, former Dallas Cowboys quarterback and Hall of Famer Troy Aikman has hinted that he may be on the ABC show, too.

Kirstie Alley took to Twitter Thursday to shoot down rumors of her involvement.

"Way too chicken!! Maybe next season if I'm invited again!!!" Alley tweeted.

The dance show turned its fortunes around last year after signing original octomom Kate Gosselin and suddenly began watching "American Idol" in the rear-view ratings mirror. The success seems to have helped it draw even more big names. Palin, daughter of former Alaska governor and vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, gives the show yet another eclectic ensemble.

It would be Palin's second gig with ABC, having guest starred last month on ABC Family's "The Secret Life of the American Teenager."

But Hoff is the real catch thus far. The extra bonus is that the singer Brandy is supposedly is "serious" discussions to join the show, according to Us magazine.  Brandy and the Hoff clearly could barely tolerate each other when they were judges on "America's Got Talent."

"We don't comment on casting rumors," an ABC rep told E!

The official cast will be revealed Aug. 30, live on ABC's "Bachelor Pad."
