Deadly Firing on U.N. School Prompted by Militants, Israel Says

An Israeli investigation into the shelling of a U.N. school that left 15 dead found that militants were firing near the school, which prompted Israeli soldiers to fire mortars in its direction, the Israeli Army said Sunday. Israel said that it did not, and would not, target international organizations operating in Gaza. At least 200 people, including many children, were wounded in the blast on Thursday.
