You would think, with HBO promoting the eighth and final season of "Entourage" with such a nostalgic air, that everyone involved had agreed to ride off into the sunset.
Nope.
"We got canceled," says star Kevin Connolly, while appearing with the rest of the cast on "Today." "We were not on board with it at all."
"We'd come back tomorrow if they'd let us," added Kevin Dillon.
Matt Lauer immediately followed up with a question about the long-rumored "Entourage" movie, which Connolly confirmed was something all involved would do what they could to make happen.
"["Entourage"] will persevere," said Adrian Grenier.
But all is not sadness as the fans await the eighth season premiere this Sunday night - for one, they will finally learn the name of Ari Gold's (Jeremy Piven) wife, who has gone through seven seasons simply as "Mrs. Ari."

When pressed by Lauer to reveal the name, Piven stonewalled.
"It's Cosmo," joked Jerry Ferrara, in reference to the long-awaited reveal of Kramer's first name on "Seinfeld."
"Entourage" returns for its possible last hurrah this Sunday at 10:30 PM ET on HBO.
