GameStop Now Deals in Apple Products

GameStop recently began Apple iOS trade-ins and will now apparently sell Apple mobile devices, according to an announcement made in Las Vegas.

GameStop made the announcement it was buying used iOS devices this week, according to 9to5Mac, which seems to suggest that GameStop is readying itself for selling retail Apple machines. It makes sense, especially if one believes that Apple will launch its latest iPhone in October. The company's announcement that it will carry Apple mobile products was made in Las Vegas last week and reportedly came from several sources, 9to5Mac continued.

Press:Here tries to be skeptical of "several" or "unnamed" sources, but it wouldn't be out of the question for Apple products to be sold in new markets. IPhones and iPods were already sold at Walmart, so it's not like it has much of a bar. While Apple Stores are great retail experiences, there are only about 300 worldwide. There are 6,500 GameStops worldwide and no reason why Apple wouldn't use them to hawk its products.
