Two gang members have brawled in an Orange County courtroom minutes after they were convicted of killing a 9-year-old girl during a gang attack.
Ricardo Cruz, 33, lunged at Alfredo Aquino, 24, and the two came to blows in Santa Ana on Thursday before bailiffs pulled them apart.
Neither appeared to be injured.
Earlier, jurors convicted them of second-degree murder for the October 2014 death of Ximena Meza.
She was shot in the chest while playing with her sisters in front of their Anaheim home.
Prosecutors say she was hit by a stray bullet as Cruz opened fire on rival gang members.
Aquino and Cruz now face 40 years to life in prison.
