Hugh Hefner's Wedding Called Off

Hugh Hefner and Crystal Harris have pulled the plug on their impending nuptials.

The couple appeared all set to make it official this Saturday - cakes were made, dresses fitted, and invitations mailed - but suddenly put on the brakes.

Harris' manager, Michael Blakey, relayed the announcement to People. "I heard the sad news today this morning," he said. "The split was a mutual decision and the two remain good friends."

More than 300 people were scheduled to come and help the 25 year-old model and 85 year-old Playboy mogul tie the knot. It would have been the third marriage for Hefner, who divorced first wife Mildred Williams in 1959, and second wife Kimberly Conrad in 2009.

In between his divorce from Conrad and his relationship with Harris, "Hef" famously cavorted with a trio of blond girlfriends - Holly Madison, Bridget Marquardt, and Kendra Wilkinson - which was filmed for the reality series "The Girls Next Door."

Harris has allegedly moved out of the Playboy Mansion and is staying with friends. She and Hefner had been dating since 2009.
