A North Carolina judge has ordered disgraced presidential hopeful John Edwards to testify about his affair with Rielle Hunter, Reuters reported. While Edwards will testify in private, Judge Carol Fox said some portions of the transcript would be made public. Hunter has sued Edwards’ ex-campaign aide, Andrew Young, to recover an alleged sex tape featuring her and the former Democratic senator. Young famously once took credit for fathering Hunter’s love child with Edwards, and later wrote a tell-all about the ensuing scandal. Edwards, meanwhile, is being investigated by the U.S. Attorney in Raleigh over whether used campaign funds to cover up his trysts with Hunter.
