Michelle Duggar's Hospital Mother's Day “Definitely Going To Be Different”

With "19 Kids and Counting," Mother's Day is an extra-special holiday for Michelle Duggar – but according to People, this year, the reality mom is spending the day in the hospital with daughter Josie Brooklyn.

"This Mother's Day is definitely going to be different because we'll be at the hospital," Michelle told the mag in a story posted on their Web site on Sunday. "This is the first time I've been in the hospital on Mother's Day."

The Duggar family's latest arrival came prematurely, born Dec. 10 after just 25 weeks, and has required medical care including this weekend's stay in the neonatal intensive care unit at Arkansas Children's Hospital in Little Rock.

However, Michelle said there's still much to celebrate.

"She reached the 6 lb. mark today," she said of Josie, whose original birth weight was just 1 lb., 6 oz. "We're going to have a six pounder party."

Michelle added that she's spoken with other mothers in the unit about "all the blessings."

"It could be a lot worse," she explained. "Our babies are growing, that is not always the case."
