A new 38-song CD, “Songs for Japan,”—a joint project between major labels Sony Entertainment, Warner Music Group, EMI Music and Universal Music Group—debuted on iTunes on Friday, The Associated Press reported. It features 38 songs from those aforementioned artists along with music by Adele, Queen, Katy Perry, John Lennon and Cee Lo Green. A physical 2-CD set will arrive in early April.
Proceeds from the sales of “Songs of Japan” will go to the Japanese Red Cross Society.
