Beyonce Unveils New Pepsi Commercial After Video Tease

The singer teased the video in a six-second clip

After teasing an announcement in a sultry, six-second clip, Beyonce rolled out a new “Mirrors” Pepsi commercial on Thursday, as part of her $50 million deal with the company.

In the 60-second upbeat video, Beyonce recreates her most memorable personalities from her biggest hits, including “Single Ladies,” “Bootylicious,” and “Crazy in Love," dancing in a space full of mirrors. She then introduces an original dance routine to a new song, “Grown Woman.”

Toward the end of the clip, Beyonce declares, “Embrace your past, but live for now.”

Beyonce inked a $50 million deal with Pepsi late last year and performed at a Pepsi-sponsored halftime show at Super Bowl XLVII. As part of the deal she was to be featured in a new TV ad for the soft drink and her face will be on a limited-edition line of soda cans.

But that’s not all. Pepsi will also promote the Grammy winner's tour this year and her new album, which is expected to come out sometime this year.

Beyonce posted a teaser for “Mirrors” on YouTube Wednesday, but the video did not reveal much.

The short clip showed her wearing super-tight black shorts, a sheer top and her "Single Ladies" gold metal glove. The video cut to a close up of her face then a message that simply said, “4.4.2013 9AM EDT #BeyHereNow.”

It left many fans wondering whether Beyonce might drop a new single or announce her much anticipated fifth album since she has a special connection to the number 4.

Both Beyonce and husband Jay-Z were born on the fourth day of their birth months and their wedding date was April 4. Beyonce's fourth album is also titled "4," The Huffington Post noted.

Though “Mirrors” surely left some disappointed, the “Grown Woman” dance routine might offer a glimpse of Beyonce's next music video.
