Designer to Move Into Jackson Estate

Christian Audigier will live in Michael Jackson's old digs

Someone else will soon be sleeping in the late King of Pop's castle.

Designer Christian Audigier of the Ed Hardy line will move into Michael Jackson's former home in California this December, the Associated Press reported Friday.

Audigier won't turn the rental property into a public space but will keep it as a residence, where he'll live, eat and sleep where the late Jackson did before his June 25 death.

The estate is owned by Ed Hardy CEO Hubert Guez. Jackson rented the massive Holmby Hills, Calif., mansion from Guez and had a lease that was due to end Dec. 15.

Audigier will pick up the house's lease in mid-December.

Jackson was entombed Thursday night at storied Hollywood cemetery Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, Calif., surrounded by family and friends who celebrated the musical superstar more than two months after his death.
