Wash. Man Arrested in Alleged Obama Threat

A man from Washington state was arrested by the Secret Service Tuesday for allegedly making an email threat against President Barack Obama, The Associated Press reported. A Secret Service spokesman said Anton Caluori was arrested in a south Seattle suburb for investigation of making threats against the president, and for brandishing a shotgun at officers who came to his door. The 31-year-old is scheduled to appear in federal court Wednesday. The threat was sent to a general purpose FBI email address, a spokeswoman for the U.S. attorney said. Federal Way police spokeswoman Cathy Schrock said she understood it was a threat to kill the president. Schrock also said the Federal Way bomb squad was called to the scene because Caluori made statements about explosive devices in the apartment. None were found.
