Shooting at Air Station in Texas Was ‘Terrorism Related,' FBI says

The shooter at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi was killed at the scene and the victim is expected to survive

A gunman opened fire at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi on Thursday, wounding at least one security force member in a "terrorism-related" attack, authorities said.

Several law enforcement officials identify the gunman in today's Corpus Christi naval base shooting as Adam Alsahli of Corpus Christi.

The coastal base in Nueces County, Texas, about 140 miles southeast of San Antonio, was on lockdown after security responded to an active shooter around 6:15 a.m.
