Nigella Lawson & Gordon Ramsay's “Guilty Secret”

Forget deep-fried buffalo-wing pizza. This, as it turns out, is why you're fat.

The is something of a serious buzzkill: The best-selling cookbooks of Nigella Lawson, Gordon Ramsay and 13 other celebrity chefs may use all natural ingredients -- but that doesn't mean they're good for you. A slew of recipes were scrutinized by a panel of nutritional experts in the U.K., who concluded that the chefs' frequent use of "killer fats" was, well, killer.

The Fat Panel's report, called The Guilty Secret of Celebrity Chefs, pointed to these chefs' heavy reliance on butter, double cream and cheese, ingredients high in unhealthy saturated fats that are "linked to deadly heart disease, strokes and obesity," according to The Guardian. And also linked to deliciousness, according to us. Calling out specific recipes, they denounce Lawson's egg and bacon pie (one serving of which contains 36 grams of fat, or nearly twice the 20-gram daily fat intake prescribed for women), and Ramsay's sticky toffee and chocolate pudding, which clocks in at 23 grams of fat.
