‘Pigeon Patrol’ Takes Flight to Monitor London’s Air Quality

Pigeons wearing tiny, hi-tech backpacks have started patrolling England's capital city to monitor the air quality of the famous "London fog," NBC News reported. [[372225281, C]]

The goal of the three-day London project, named Pigeon Air Patrol, is to "raise awareness and change minds about pollution," according to Plume Labs, creators of a personal pollution app that delivers real-time updates and advice on how poor air quality impacts health.
