Prince Harry Shuts Down Facebook Page

Britain's Prince Harry took down his Facebook page after privacy concerns over naked photos of him in Las Vegas were released to the press last week.
Apparently the royals are opening an inquiry about his recent trip to Sin City, according to Australia's The Telegraph. Apparently Harry is worried that more damaging images may show up -- namely allegedly "wilder" antics at Virgin mogul Sir Richard Branson's private Necker Island. His girlfriend, Cressida Bonas, also allegedly chucked him over the photos.
Britain's The Telegraph also claimed that Prince Harry had also been using another Facebook account with the pseudonym of Spike Wells, which many believe to be a nickname for the prince.
Last week, after the furore and privacy concerns surrounding the publication of naked pictures of the Prince partying in Las Vegas, his advisers reportedly told him to delete his Facebook page. . . . At the same time Mr Wells’ Facebook page also vanished from the internet.
We hardly think it's surprising that a famous young man has an alternative account. Actually it's more surprising that Prince Harry had a private account on Facebook at all. It's hardly a very security-conscious decision. It also is a little hard to figure out why the prince's handlers or security detail would allow someone to be taking photos of the prince in various states of undress.
